Tradition dictates that my first pic should always be of the Dealer's Room. This was Friday night- you can tell from the lack of sarding-like packing of humans into a large area.
If Sora'd had a sister, or a female counterpart from another dimension bent on replacing him in THIS dimension and replacing all of his friend's toothpaste with diaper ointment, then THIS is what she'd look like. You might remember her from HERE. Never ceases to amaze me the sheer NUMBER of outfits this young lady brings to the cons.

Friday Nights opening ceremonies went off without a hitch. I only stayed long enough to grab a snapshot of the department heads before I had to go to work-

I recognize JR from DBZ... not that I'm much of a dbz fan, but I've seen it briefly while flipping PAST Cartoon Network's output of such tripe, but I'm afraid I can't quite place is whip-toting companion.

As misplaced at Gambit would be at an ANIME convention, you can't help but appreciate the work put into this costume. She never ceases to amaze.

Attention was even paid to Gambit's red-on-black eyes! Bravo!

Emily and Robert de Jesus were hangin out in the Dealer's Room and were quite glad to get up and stretch their legs, I'm sure.

I got to chit chat with Robert for a brief moment and let him know how much I respected his work and loved his style. He's a kewl kat. If you didn't get one of his groovy badges custom drawn, you can see his work here.

He's the only other puerto rican artist I know that enjoys/draws in the manga-style. RAWK!

You can go to just about any anime con and run into somewhere in the neighborhood of 50+ Trigun cosplayers.

This Wolfwood was one of the best I saw. He even got detailed enough to go for the cross cufflinks.

 

No, I don't want to buy the cross, dude. But thanks anyway.
Chocolate Misu was brought to life by one of my fellow security officers. She made mention that this was her first cosplay. She really went for the gusto, didn't she?
