Tradition dictates that my
first pic should always be of the Dealer's Room. This was Friday night-
you can tell from the lack of sarding-like packing of humans into a large
area.

If Sora'd had a sister, or
a female counterpart from another dimension bent on replacing him in THIS
dimension and replacing all of his friend's toothpaste with diaper ointment,
then THIS is what she'd look like. You might remember her from HERE.
Never ceases to amaze me the sheer NUMBER of outfits this young lady brings
to the cons.

Friday Nights opening ceremonies went off without a hitch. I only stayed long enough to grab a snapshot of the department heads before I had to go to work-
Booooo, work! |

Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force... with alot of tape.
... and legs.
...and an oversized lid. |

A wonderful rendition of Edea
from FF8. The backing was a real eyecatcher, too.

Ok, so we've either got a Samurai Lord from Inuyasha, or a security guard deprived of human contact and in need of a hug.
... or a really bad budweiser commercial... "WHAASSAAAUGH!" |

If I'm not mistaken this young lady is dressed as
Rikku from FFX. If I'm wrong feel free to correct
me, but do so with tact, please.

Vincent Valentine appears to be copping a feel on... CLOUD?! Whoa... Call me loco, but maybe it's not the size, but how you USE that sword, huh? |

Is she protraying Fuu from MKR?

Either I don't watch enough anime or this is from
a movie yet to be released??

Yuna's second version from FFX-2. With this costume,
Lori awards her favorite pick from THIS con.

I recognize JR from DBZ... not that I'm much of a dbz fan, but I've seen it briefly while flipping PAST Cartoon Network's output of such tripe, but I'm afraid I can't quite place is whip-toting companion. Anyone care to offer up some info on this one? |

Vegeta meets DON KING!

Touga from Utena, if I'm not mistaken... add that
to my "must see" list of anime.

A friendly white truffle fanning herself. I'd use
my BLIZZAGA, but knowing those damn truffles... as soon as I find the
spell, she'll already have switched to another freakin' pose.

As misplaced at Gambit would be at an ANIME convention, you can't help but appreciate the work put into this costume. She never ceases to amaze. Attention was even paid to Gambit's red-on-black eyes! Bravo! |

Emily and Robert de Jesus were hangin out in the Dealer's Room and were quite glad to get up and stretch their legs, I'm sure. I got to chit chat with Robert for a brief moment and let him know how much I respected his work and loved his style. He's a kewl kat. If you didn't get one of his groovy badges custom drawn, you can see his work here. He's the only other puerto rican artist I know that enjoys/draws in the manga-style. RAWK! |

You can go to just about any anime con and run into somewhere in the neighborhood of 50+ Trigun cosplayers. This Wolfwood was one of the best I saw. He even got detailed enough to go for the cross cufflinks.
No, I don't want to buy the cross, dude. But thanks anyway. |

Chocolate Misu was brought to life by one of my fellow
security officers. She made mention that this was her first cosplay. She
really went for the gusto, didn't she?

Tiffany Grant, voice actress extrordinaire, took a moment to let me sneak in a snapshot. Maybe when Mangled Stare goes animated, she'll grace us with her talents! Ya think? |
