Ushicon 1! pg.3 |

Magic Nights Rayearth
found time to stop for a quick snapshot... the little furry wouldn't quit
smiling at me, though. I think an attempt to hypnotize the Mighty Mangler
was the furry's idea with the little jewel.

It's Vivi! He seemed
a bit taller in person. Hey, hey, hey!! Watch where you point that thing!

Washu and friends dropped from her lab to check out the Ushicon action. Actually, Shikasu (center) turned out to be fellow online comic artist who finds time to post her comic, Seekers here. And Keiichi (right) hosts keiichi.net radio for all you jpop fans out there. Check out their stuff or face the Mangler's wrath! |

Some folks chose to
pay tribute to there own character creations. This is one such example.
She told me the character's name, but shortly after this picture I was
called away for an urgent mangling and forgot the name. If you remember,
let the Mangler know so I can update this.

On the last day of Ushicon 1 I attended a webcomic discussion with guests of honor, Josh Lesnick of Wendy fame and Rodney Caston (aka Largo) from a little webcomic we like to call Megatokyo. Rumor has it that Rodney was a bit out of it due to the previous night's festivities where our Megatokyo writer found himself a bit... as we say in minority circles, Krunk. dig. Go Largo. |

|
After the webcomic powwow a few of us went up to Largo and expressed our appreciation for his role and upkeep of Megatokyo. What's that little piece of orange paper in front of him, you ask? Well, that is part of the gift art original I did for Megatokyo (found here). He seemed to dig it and that made me feel pretty nifty. Yay Mangler. That was my Ushicon 1 adventure. Thanks for sharing. See ya at Ushicon 2! |
