It's the Cogliostro group! This is old school homage, folks. I'm so proud someone had taste! These folks reminded me of one of my earliest anime experiences with the Castle of Cogliostro. Awesome.

Actually, Ed here (right) was roped into security when head of security thought we were lacking security guards.

He was doing alright until he challenged Vivi from FF9 (left). Vivi was heard to say,

"Hold my hat and staff, I'm 'bout to go postal on this mo fo."

Then Ed was turned into a Chokobo.
A combo of Belldandy, Sekura, and... uh, erm... demon-winged-chic.

"Haha! I'm walking away quickly so you may not get a clear shot of me. So there!"

Mangler: "Mangled Stare!"

Poof.

I don't know whether to feel bad or not, but I really don't know what anime these ladies are from. Feel free to clue the Mangler in.

Ask and ye shall receive... Makoto (far right) emailed me with that clue- "The anime we're from is called "DiGi Charat"... it started out as a commercial for the Gamer's stores in Japan, and was so cute that it spawned its own anime series and manga and merchandise onslaught. ^_^ Integral (left) is dressed up as "Rabi~en~Rose", Ringo (center) is dressed up as "Dejiko", and I'm on the right dressed up as "Puchiko". Again the Mangler is lost. I don't know where this character is from, but you can tell some work went into this costume. Well done.
