She likes to think she’s as slick as her Mama.

So, STAPLE was an absolute blast. I’d like to thank every single one of you who came out and said “Hey” to the Mangler. I really felt horrible that I didn’t bring any books along with me, but folks still showed plenty of support. I got to STAPLE a little too close to opening time, thanks to my keen sense of timing./sarcasm. My table mates were some awesome folks, The Brenners. Angelica Brenner had some really amazing talent!

After a slow start, the crowd finally started to pour in around 1pm. The ever bubbly Leah Ada Franco decided to grace our table for a good deal of the day and brought her awesome humor to play. I STILL haven’t gotten a drawing from her! I did get to draw a few commissions and I moved some of the new shirts out the door, too! I got to touch base with Andy Runton a bit and my kids drew some pictures of Owly for him after they’d discovered his table. They really loved Owly. When the kids began to get restless, we decided that it was time to boogy on home. Again, thanks for all the Mangled love and I look forward to seeing folks in Dallas at DWEX!
