" CAPE, last Saturday, was pretty sweet. The weather was beautiful
and I got to meet some great folks. I haven't had a Chipotle Chowdown
challenger in 2 years. I think I scared them off when I downed those
three burritos back at CAPE
2. Either way, I still got a chance to down some Chipotle
thanks to Brad,
from HalfHour Wasted. It was pretty fun sitting next
to Frank and Brad. Cool dudes...
" I got to also chat with Scott
and Angie a bit. Lori bought me a book,
which I had signed, naturally. Speaking of which, I got to meet Erica
and she was so happy to meet my little artist that she hooked him up
with a Jinxlet.
" After CAPE, we drove out to Glen Rose to stay with some friends
instead of driving all the way back to Austin. Lemme tell ya, Glen Rose
is a beautiful town. We stayed with friends that had, without a doubt,
one of the most beautiful homes I've ever seen up close. The Mangularios
had a great mini-vacation and I can't thank Zeus, CAPE staff, or my
readers and fans enough!

" Last weekend we took my munchkins to the San Antonio Zoo. It
was their first time to the zoo and we were pooped after 2 hours of
walking. I don't remember that zoo being so HUGE. We used to go when
I was in elementary all the time. I think my old Sunday school class
would go on occassion, too. It sure is a lot fancier than I remember.
I know we never went on that train that goes around the park... so it
was a first for all of us. What a blast. Afterwards, we hit Amy's
Ice Creams because my kids wanted sweets and I needed
to show
off a little.
" I do more than just that trick. But Lori only had so much battery
power. I'll have to remember to work a shift at Amy's so Lori can take
pictures of my repertoire."
" He enjoys surprising us like that. You may remember the Chipotle
